Extreme home makeover part 1….

To prevent myself from getting bored I promissed my parents to give the livingroom some much needed attention. This because my parent are not able themselves and can barely afford it being done by a professional painter/ carpenter. Luckily I enjoy these type of jobs allot!

Part one involved the walls and woodwork. First we took off all the wallpaper, then repaired all cracks and holes with filler. After that a layer of special ‘primer’ was used to make shure the walls & ceiling would be solid and ready for paint.

Once prept, I used 3 layers of paint, 2 layers being white and giving the walls & ceiling a little structure, and the last layer giving it the final colour (broken-white)

Once the walls and ceiling where done my attention turned towards the remaining wood; doors, windowframes and plinths. Luckily just a few spots needed extra filler, so roughly 2 layers further I was finished!

Next up: The floor…
